Branches form the nurturing element of the mighty oak. They reach out, embrace, and draw in the weary, the struggling, and those who long for more. Within the Body of Christ, the ministry of small groups provides nurture, growth, maturity, and community to each member. Without community, we quickly shrivel and lose our vigor.
We believe that virtually every Christian can be trained to lead a small group Bible study using our methods. These methods focus on facilitating a discussion among prepared people rather than depending on a skilled or gifted teaching leader. The goals of Branches are to encourage each Christian to grow in godliness and to present each member mature before the throne of the Father through study, accountability, community, and the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
