Many people want to minister to the abused, but do they know how? Might they do more harm than good? Unfortunately, this is often the case. This workshop presents very practical "don'ts and do's" for ministry, including extensive case material. This workshop is based on my experience as both a survivor and a lay counselor for survivors, including many who have been ritually abused and have Dissociative Identity Disorder (formerly known as Multiple Personality Disorder). The objective of this workshop is to provide practical information for direct ministry or for managing a ministry. Target audience is pastors and church staff as well as professional and lay counselors.
